I have actually never read a romance where the heroine is about to be sold as a sex slave, so I had no idea it was a popular theme! I think this one sounds pretty good. Adding it to Mt. TBR. Thanks for the review!

I loved The Devil’s Cub and did not realize till after reading it that it was a follow-up to These Old Shades. This one and several other GH books are on my list! Great review!

Great review, Caz! I have this one sitting on Mt. TBR. I enjoyed the author’s book about Cecily Neville, and I’m looking forward to reading more about Jane Shore.

I’m reading this right now! Some of her books are better than others (The Winter Sea is my favorite too, followed by Mariana), but overall I think she’s pretty consistent in delivering good reads, and that makes her one of my favorites! Good review, Jill!

I adored this book. I have read these and am amazed at the twists and turns in each book. I thought Darius was a tortured soul until I met Ethan, and like you, I was blindsided by the ending twist. This is a book that has stayed with me long after I finished it

Thank you for your review, Lady Blue. I am particularly interested in what you thought of this book because I have both Nicholas and Ethan on my TBR pile. I do love tormented heroes and so Ethan sounds just right for me. I have Beckman on pre-order.
